A garden wedding will not be rushed.
The light moves. The bees move. The bouquet wilts a little around the edges. The dress catches on a thorn that, ten minutes earlier, was not there. The schedule was always going to be a suggestion — and you knew that going in.
I love that you let the garden win. I love that you didn't try to staple the day down. There is a particular kind of softness in pictures made by couples who weren't watching the clock, and these are some of mine.
